Independence & disclaimer

BetterStay is an independent, third-party service. BetterStay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Airbnb, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. All references to “Airbnb,” including the Airbnb name, logo, listing pages, and search URLs, are used strictly for descriptive purposes and remain the property of their respective owners. Airbnb is a trademark of Airbnb, Inc.

1. What BetterStay does

BetterStay lets you paste a public Airbnb search URL and periodically checks that search for new openings or cancellations. When we detect a listing that appears to match your criteria, we may notify you by email. BetterStay does not book, hold, reserve, cancel, modify, or process payments for any accommodation. Every booking decision is yours, made directly on Airbnb.

2. No guarantee of results

BetterStay makes no promise that any listing will become available, that any listing we surface will remain available at the time you visit it, or that the price, rating, review count, availability, or any other detail we display is accurate, current, or complete. Airbnb inventory changes constantly; treat every alert as a hint to check Airbnb directly.

3. Use of Airbnb

Your use of the Airbnb website and its listings is governed by Airbnb’s own Terms of Service and policies. You are responsible for complying with them. BetterStay is not a party to, and has no responsibility for, your relationship with Airbnb, any host, or any guest.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) resell, republish, or systematically extract data from BetterStay; (b) use BetterStay to violate any law or the terms of any third-party service, including Airbnb; (c) submit URLs that you do not have the right to submit; or (d) attempt to probe, scan, or interfere with BetterStay’s infrastructure.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used abusively.

6. Fees

BetterStay may introduce paid plans in the future. If it does, pricing and billing terms will be presented before you subscribe. Free access may be limited, modified, or discontinued at any time.

7. Intellectual property

The BetterStay name, logo, and product are owned by the operators of BetterStay. All other trademarks — including, without limitation, “Airbnb” — remain the property of their respective owners and are used here only nominatively.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

BetterStay is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. You use BetterStay at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetterStay, its operators, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, bookings, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of BetterStay — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid BetterStay in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (ii) USD 50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BetterStay harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service or your violation of these terms or any third-party rights, including those of Airbnb.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use of BetterStay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts with jurisdiction there, unless mandatory local consumer law says otherwise.
